I won't bore you with too much info about me but I wanted to give everyone the run down on why I am here.
Back in 2007 I had hit rock bottom weighing my heaviest and had many medical problems. I was suddenly slapped in the face with a BIG reality check. That reality check stung like no other. I was going to die. My lifestyle habits were SO extreme. I was never a big eater but when I did eat, it was pure JUNK! I loved my Pepsi and barely drank water.
At this point in my life I smoked and was on about 9 different prescriptions for problems ranging from high sugar to high blood pressure. I made a life changing choice to do something about it. Exercise was nearly impossible with the medical issues. I tried many yo-yo diets but we all know what those do. I decided to go for it and have surgery as I was an excellent candidate.
It worked! I started getting thinner and thinner working out 5 days a week! Down one pound, 2 pounds, another pound, I was dropping weight daily! I was off of almost all of my medications! After 6 months I thought to myself, "yeap, I'm good now" Still in my unhealthy habits, I quit going to the gym. The weight started packing back on eventually. Wait! How is this happening? I had the surgery!
Another hard reality check slapped me. Healthy habits? What's that? How do I get into all of that? I was on a roller coaster for the next 10 years with yo-yo diets, trying this and that but I didn't get it. I dieted and lost weight, then I would gain it right back. Ugghhhhh
Finally the light bulb switched on. Ohhhhhh, I need to make some big changes. I started a new job in a different town which happened to be 20 feet away from an Anytime Fitness! I stopped smoking within that same month and joined the gym. It has been a true struggle but I eventually learned healthy eating habits, I started full fledge working out. I got a personal trainer to achieve some goals.
Today I am working out 5 days a week. The gym has become my second life. Small group, cardio, spin class, kickboxing yes yes yessssss. To the point of becoming a personal trainer myself with a specialization in kickboxing! I dropped the pounds and kept it off! I drink water. Pepsi is a thing of the past. That woman in the first couple of pictures below is gone! I killed her and she's NOT coming back!
So now, believe me when I say I know it is possible. I know what you're going through. I know because I lived it! I found my drive and motivation and I want to help you find yours too!
